Why do I love Delhi so much?

Delhi is a city and union territory of India containing New Delhi, the capital of India. It is the centre of National capital region(NCR). A heart of country who represents India itself.

According to a recent article of Times of India, Delhi’s population is more than the countries population like Greece, New Zealand, Sweden, Netherlands and Zimbabwe. It has officially crosses 2 crore population according to the data released by Election commission of India. link

With the tag of one of the most populous city in the world. It has its own journey of evolution. Now let me take you to the journey of Delhi as Why do I love Delhi so much?

#1 Metro Connectivity

Delhi metro is the backbone of Delhi’s life. According to DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail corporation ltd )everyday Delhi metro carries 1.5 million passengers with the network of about 389 Km with 285 stations. Link

 You would be astonished to know that DMRC has also been certified by the United Nations (UN) as the first Metro Rail and Rail based system in the world to get carbon Credits for reducing Green House gas emissions as it has helped to reduce pollution levels in the city by 6.3 lakh tons every year thus helping in reducing global warming.

Citizens of Delhi can not imagine even a single day with Metro. With the superb connectivity at every place in Delhi, DMRC has won the hearts of many.
